From center stage to music director, Lindsey McHugh, a blind music teacher, first discovered her love for theatre and music during a school production of Alice in Wonderland. Now, she teaches elementary students that music comes from within, and the importance of seizing every opportunity because nothing can hold them back.

This micro documentary won first place in the Ford Empowering America Scholarship funded by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation.
